Volcanodle
Puzzle #107 was Ivao Group.
The Ivao group of cones along the Krishtofovich Ridge of SW Urup Island contains several well-preserved cones of Holocene age. The first of a group of three young cones, at the NW end of the chain, is the Ivao cone. The SE-most cone bisects a glacial valley, forming Lake Ivao.

What the record says
Puzzle 107 ran on 24 Oct 2026 and the answer was Ivao Group, played with 6 guesses against 8 columns. On the record: Country - Russia; Region - Northwestern Pacific Volcanic Regions; Type - pyroclastic-cone; Tectonic setting - subduction; Elevation - 500-1500; Historically observed - not-observed. 2 of the 8 columns are blank in the source (Last eruption and Rock type), so nobody could score them either way.
Volcanodle builds its record from Global Volcanism Program, Smithsonian Institution (Venzke, E. (ed.), Volcanoes of the World, volcano.si.edu). The description above comes from the same place the game credits on every reveal: A verbatim excerpt of the volcano's GVP Geological Summary. The puzzle itself is still playable in the archive, and every answer that has been and gone is listed on the past-answers page.
