Volcanodle
Puzzle #102 was Cordon del Azufre.
Cordón del Azufre is a small volcanic complex straddling the Chile-Argentina border. The complex consists of a cluster of lava flows from vents on the NE side, wholly within Argentina, and a 5-km-long chain of vents along the border with Chile. An older andesitic-dacitic edifice with a 1.3-km-wide crater was mostly covered by younger Holocene andesitic lava flows.

What the record says
Puzzle 102 ran on 19 Oct 2026 and the answer was Cordon del Azufre, played with 6 guesses against 8 columns. On the record: Country - Chile-Argentina; Region - South America Volcanic Regions; Type - complex; Tectonic setting - subduction; Elevation - >5000; Rock type - andesite; Historically observed - not-observed. 1 of the 8 columns is blank in the source (Last eruption), so nobody could score it either way.
Volcanodle builds its record from Global Volcanism Program, Smithsonian Institution (Venzke, E. (ed.), Volcanoes of the World, volcano.si.edu). The description above comes from the same place the game credits on every reveal: A verbatim excerpt of the volcano's GVP Geological Summary. The puzzle itself is still playable in the archive, and every answer that has been and gone is listed on the past-answers page.
